More Soccer

Some more soccer pictures and a video of their favorite exercise during practice.

Team Pictures for Soccer

After DA's third game, it was time to take team pictures. DA's whole team wasn't there, but what can you do? DA enjoyed it, so that's what counts.

My little cheeser...we've got to work on that smile:

Are We Sure We're Ready?

It's a little late, but I've been asking myself recently if I'm ready for another child...

I have one wonderful little boy right now who makes my life anything but boring. Look at this face:
But even with all his awesomeness shining in my life, I'm a little scared...okay, maybe petrified to think that in a month, maybe less, I'll have another little life to take care of. What are we doing?
Thankfully, a few days ago my little sister called to see if I could watch her little girl for the day. My niece came over and spent the day with us. She's an adorable little bundle of joy just over a year old. And we had a lot of fun with her. All day was spent playing!

Isn't she just the cutest thing? I asked Jake after she had gone home if he thought we were ready for another one. His answer: "Heck yes! I'm excited to be having a little girl soon. I am so ready!"

Okay, at least he is. Maybe I am too, and I'm just freaking myself out.

Somebody is Zonked

The other day in the mid-afternoon, the house suddenly became very very quiet. I went looking for DA wondering what he had gotten into and how I was going to handle the trouble. This is what I found:No trouble Mom! He just crashed. And boy does he snore!

After letting him snooze for a couple of hours, Jake decided he was going to have some fun. This is before...
Absolutely dead to the world, snoring, snuggling his most favorite stuffed animal.

This is after...

DA slept through all of it.

This is Why I Love Sundays!

Sunday really is the best day of the week. It's purely a family day. We spend almost every moment together. Getting ready and breakfast, Church, lunch, quiet time, dinner, family games and togetherness, bedtime snuggles and stories. That's what most of our Sundays consist of. This is why I love Sundays!

As an added bonus, dinner is always good. And company for dinner is fabulous!

Lovely Anniversary

Jake and I had a lovely anniversary together. He brought home this awesome bouquet of roses and lilies:
The card says, "6 roses for six years and extra flowers for all the fun." I don't think he could have picked out a more beautiful collection of flowers (and they're all personal favorites). They smelled incredible too!

Then we went to Benihana's for dinner together. YUM! We love it here:
