It's a little late, but I've been asking myself recently if I'm ready for another child...
I have one wonderful little boy right now who makes my life anything but boring. Look at this face:
But even with all his awesomeness shining in my life, I'm a little scared...okay, maybe petrified to think that in a month, maybe less, I'll have another little life to take care of. What are we doing?
Thankfully, a few days ago my little sister called to see if I could watch her little girl for the day. My niece came over and spent the day with us. She's an adorable little bundle of joy just over a year old. And we had a lot of fun with her. All day was spent playing!
Isn't she just the cutest thing? I asked Jake after she had gone home if he thought we were ready for another one. His answer: "Heck yes! I'm excited to be having a little girl soon. I am so ready!" Okay, at least he is. Maybe I am too, and I'm just freaking myself out.
she totally is the cutest thing. Gosh I'm so nice for letting you watch her. haha You're ready! I can't wait for my little niece to get here!
ReplyDeleteHehehe, thanks. I really am freaking out just a little bit. I have almost zero girl stuff and I'm barely getting to the point where my house is clean most of the time, which has been so awesome. Fitting another little one into the works is going to be a hard transition.
